Slack / Teams post

For the company channel on the day.

At 11am on 11 November we'll be observing a two-minute silence for Remembrance Day. Please join in wherever you are, and keep calls clear of that time if you can.

Talking points

For managers and team leads.

- Keep 11am clear of meetings and let the team know the silence is happening. - Be mindful that some colleagues may have served, or have family who have, and may find the day personal. - Participation is welcome but should never be pressured, and that includes wearing a poppy.

Tone note

How to pitch it.

Keep the tone sombre and simple, with no promotional angle. Wearing a poppy is a personal choice, so do not expect or police it.
