Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 February 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Internal Newsletter ("the Service"), operated by Internal Newsletter Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Internal Newsletter is a software-as-a-service platform that helps teams plan, create, and distribute internal newsletters. The Service includes content management, template design, AI-assisted drafting, calendar planning, and email-ready HTML export.

3. Accounts and Teams

When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

The Service is organised around Teams. A Team is the billable entity. Team administrators are responsible for managing team membership and access. You may belong to multiple Teams.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or within your Team, including content created by team members you have invited.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans:

  • Free — limited features, no payment required
  • Pro ($49/month) — expanded features for teams who send regularly
  • Team ($149/month) — full features for larger organisations

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply from the next billing cycle after the notice period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Send unsolicited bulk email or spam
  • Upload or distribute malicious code
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including newsletter text, images, and templates you design.

AI-generated content (drafts produced by our AI assistant) is provided as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before use. We do not claim ownership of AI-generated drafts created for your Team.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. AI Features

The Service uses third-party AI providers (including OpenAI) to generate draft content. Content you provide as context for AI drafting may be sent to these providers for processing. We do not use your content to train AI models. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

8. Availability and Support

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance.

Support is provided via email. Response times vary by plan — paid plans receive priority support.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Contact
