Pricing questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most.

We already use Slack or Teams for announcements — why pay for this?
Slack and Teams are great for real-time chat, but messages scroll off screen in minutes. Important updates get buried under threads, reactions, and off-topic conversations. A newsletter gives you one curated, skimmable update that people can read on their own schedule — and you can actually measure who opened it. Most of our customers still use Slack daily; they just stopped relying on it for anything that matters a week from now.
Our email tool (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.) can already send newsletters — what's different?
External email tools are built for marketing: subscriber management, deliverability warm-up, per-contact pricing. None of that applies when you're emailing your own colleagues through your own email client. We focus on what actually makes internal newsletters hard — collecting content from busy people, building Outlook-safe layouts, and keeping a regular cadence. You won't pay per subscriber, fight spam filters, or configure sending domains.
We're a small team — do we really need a dedicated tool?
If you have more than a handful of people, important context is already falling through the cracks. The free plan gives you the full product — every content type, submission forms, AI drafting, and Outlook/Gmail export — so there's no cost to trying it. Most small teams start free and stay free until they hit a volume where the time savings alone justify upgrading.
What happens if we outgrow the free plan?
You'll see a clear usage indicator in your dashboard as you approach your plan limits. Nothing breaks or gets locked — you just can't publish new newsletters beyond your monthly allowance until you upgrade or the next billing cycle starts. Upgrading takes effect immediately and unlocks higher limits, more team seats, and features like approval workflows.
Can I switch plans or billing cycles mid-way through?
Yes. Upgrade at any time and you'll be prorated for the remainder of your current billing period. Switch from monthly to annual whenever you want to lock in the 20% discount. Downgrade at renewal — your current features stay active until the end of your paid period.
Is there a contract or setup fee?
No contracts, no setup fees, no hidden charges. Every plan is month-to-month or annual — your choice. Cancel any time in your billing settings and your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
