For the company channel on the day.

It's Ada Lovelace Day, celebrating women in science, technology, engineering and maths. Which woman in STEM, here or anywhere, has inspired you?

Talking points

For managers and team leads.

- Recognise the specific work of women in technical roles on your team. - Look at who gets visible, stretching opportunities and whether that is fair. - Encourage mentoring and sponsorship that lasts beyond a single day.

Tone note

How to pitch it.

Celebrate achievements on their own merits rather than framing women as exceptions. Ask before featuring anyone, and include women in all roles, not only the most senior.
