How it sends

We build it. You send it. No middleman.

Internal Newsletter creates email-ready HTML. You paste it into Outlook, Gmail, or whatever your org already uses. No new sender to approve. No lists to import. No vendor sitting between you and your people.

No vendor in your sending path

Emails come from you, not us. Your domain, your name, no "sent via" branding. Recipients see a normal email from someone they know.

Use your existing distribution lists

Outlook DLs, Google Groups, Exchange groups — whatever you already have. No contacts to import, sync, or manage separately.

Nothing for IT to approve

No new sender domain. No SPF or DKIM changes. No security review. The email goes through your existing infrastructure — exactly where IT wants it.

No per-subscriber pricing

Send to 50 or 50,000 people. Same price. We charge for the tool, not the audience size.

Near-perfect deliverability

Internal emails through your own Exchange or Google Workspace don't hit spam filters. They just arrive. No warm-up, no sender reputation to build.

Zero switching cost

Cancel us tomorrow and nothing changes about how you send. Your lists, your email client, your process — all still there.

Why this tool

Built for internal newsletters. Nothing else.

Most teams end up using a tool that wasn't designed for this job. That's where the friction starts.

Internal comms platforms

Powerful, but overkill

Staffbase, Poppulo, Simpplr — "feature-rich" means months of setup, enterprise contracts, and training before anyone sends a newsletter. Most of those features sit unused.

Typical deployment: 3–6 months

Email marketing tools

Built for a different job

Mailchimp and HubSpot are built for external marketing. Per-subscriber pricing, subscriber management, deliverability concerns — none of which apply when you're emailing your own colleagues.

Per-subscriber pricing adds up fast internally

DIY in Outlook or Gmail

Works until it doesn't

No templates, no way to collect content from others, inconsistent formatting, and it's always someone's least favourite task. The newsletter quietly becomes a chore nobody wants.

Most DIY newsletters go quarterly, then stop

Internal Newsletter does one thing well: helps you collect content, build a professional newsletter, and export it to the email client you already use. Set up in minutes. Send your first edition the same day.

Frequently asked questions

How does sending work if you don't send the email?
We handle the hard part — collecting content, building the layout, and generating email-ready HTML. When you're done, you export that HTML and paste it straight into Outlook, Gmail, or whatever your org uses to send. The email comes from you, through your own infrastructure. No new sender to set up.
Will the formatting survive Outlook?
Yes. Every template compiles to table-based HTML with fully inlined styles — the only format Outlook renders reliably. We also convert bullet lists to paragraph-style bullets because Outlook's list rendering is notoriously broken. You can export separately optimised versions for Outlook and Gmail.
How do I collect content from other people?
Create a submission form and share the link. Contributors fill in their update — title, body, images — without needing an account. Their submission lands in your content library as a draft. You review it, edit if needed, mark it as ready, and drop it into your next newsletter.
What can I do on the free plan?
Three newsletters per month, up to 20 content blocks, and two team members. You get all nine content types, submission forms, AI drafting, and full Outlook and Gmail export. The free plan is the real product with volume limits, not a crippled demo.
Do I need IT involved to get started?
No. There's nothing for IT to approve because we never touch your email infrastructure. No new sender domain, no SPF or DKIM changes, no security review. You're pasting HTML into the same email client you already use. Most teams are up and running the same day they sign up.
Can I use my existing distribution lists?
That's the whole point. You send through your own email client, so your Outlook distribution lists, Google Groups, and Exchange groups all work exactly as they do now. No contacts to import, sync, or maintain in a separate system.
How is this different from Mailchimp or HubSpot?
Those tools are built for external marketing — subscriber management, deliverability warm-up, per-contact pricing. None of that applies when you're emailing your own colleagues through your own email client. We focus on the actual hard part of internal newsletters: getting content from busy people and turning it into something professional.
What if I want to cancel?
No lock-in, no guilt trips. Cancel any time in your billing settings and your access continues until the end of your billing period. Because we never handled your sending, nothing changes about how you reach your audience — your lists, your email client, your process all stay exactly where they are.
